We love hearing about everything PGRs at Strathclyde have been up to. If you think you have a good idea for a contribution to the blog, check out the open call for contributions and drop us a line using the contact form below and someone will get back to you to discuss it as soon as possible.
Open Call for Contributions
We are always looking for contributions to our blog. We are insterested in hearing about everything and anything postgraduate researchers at the University of Strathclyde have to say about their research, and beyond!

The blog is intended to represent the breadth of activity happening across the university. We know that PGRs are involved in many interesting activities inside and outside of their research; therefore, the scope of potential contributions is wide. Examples of potential contributions include (but are not limited to):

-
Articles based around your research
-
Commentary or analysis on current events
-
Book, film, music reviews
-
Features related to all facets of graduate student life
-
Hints and tips to help us all navigate the PGR experience
-
Videos/photographs/multimedia presentations

The blog is intended for a general audience and the writing/presentation style should reflect this. We also welcome posts with a humorous, light-hearted tone.

There is no strict word limit, but the general form of a blog is significantly shorter than articles to be found in journals and books, so we suggest that you try to keep your contribution below 1000 words. Your contribution will be reviewed by our editorial team prior to posting. Vacancies are also open throughout the year for editors across all faculties – if you are interested, please get in touch using the email address or link below.
This is a great opportunity to disseminate your research to a wide audience, develop your skills in making your research accessible for the general public, and contributing to the university-wide research culture. Both contributing and editing content can count towards credits for the PgCert Researcher Professional Development.
To make a proposal or to register your interest in becoming an editor, please fill out the contact form below or email Rose rose.mchardy@strath.ac.uk

We look forward to hearing your ideas!
